Tailored programme based on the principles of the 3 R’S of Mental & Emotional Health Crisis Management at Work.
The programme is aimed towards an organisations people managers, EHS professionals and Emergency Response teams, to support and manage a potential response to mental ill-health and mental health crisis.
It is based on 3 pillars: RECOGNISE, RESPOND and RECOVER.
RECOGNISE
Learn to recognise emotional and mental ill-health and how its potential presence can be identified. Some of the topics we will learn to recognise includes stress, anxiety, depression, perinatal mental ill-health, psychosis, self-harm and suicide.
RESPOND
The more prepared we are to understand how emotional and mental ill-health conditions and crisis situations may present themselves at work the more likely we are to remain calm and supportive towards our colleagues when responding to their needs. In this module of the course we will do just that thus enabling conversations to be had around mental and emotional ill-health at work.
RECOVER
There are a wide range of supports and resources available that we can highlight and bring to the attention of a colleague whom we believe is suffering from emotional mental ill-health in order to aid their recovery.
In addition, as those responsible to respond and support our colleagues we may also rely on these resources.
3R’S and Event Feedback
“Excellent course. Would make it a must for all people leaders to attend. Malin was very open and honest about her own experiences and it helped hugely to allow other people to share their difficulties and to try and break down the old walls, perceptions and stigmas.”
“Very impactful both personally and professionally.”
“The mix of Facts/Guidance/Experience – facts on the different areas/types of emotional health concerns, guidance and suggestions regarding embedding emotional health into our current ER Programme and the sharing of personal experience which puts it all into context.”
“This was probably the best presented event I’ve completed in 20 years.”
