EHS Consultant & Trainer
Modig is growing, and we’re looking for an EHS Consultant & Trainer to join our team and support our expanding client portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, client-facing environment and delivering high-quality health & safety solutions.
The position will focus in particular on supporting client risk assessment projects, including general, ergonomic, chemical and task-based assessments, as well as contributing to broader EHS documentation, training and client work.
As a relationship-driven consultancy and training company, we’re looking for someone who can build trust with clients, understand their challenges, and provide clear, practical advice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting client risk assessment programmes (general, ergonomic, chemical, task-specific, etc.).
- Preparing and updating EHS documentation, including risk assessments, safety statements and procedures.
- Working directly with clients across a range of sectors, including pharma, medical device, tech, manufacturing and office environments.
- Carrying out site visits and providing on-site consultancy support.
- Assisting with audits, compliance reviews and improvement projects.
- Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Providing practical guidance on human factors, safety behaviours and attitudes to support the development of positive safety cultures within client organisations.
- Supporting clients in embedding safety culture improvements and engaging employees in proactive safety initiatives.
- Facilitating client-focused EHS training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of risks and promote safe work practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of a Level 8 qualification in Safety, Health & Welfare at Work.
- Previous experience preparing EHS documentation and risk assessments.
- Train the Trainer qualification desirable.
- Experience working in a consultancy or multi-client environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence working directly with clients.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites nationwide.
