With Us Not For Us

People with disabilities have the right to be treated fairly and have the same opportunities as everyone else, working With others to improve their lives. People with Down syndrome often have poor or controlling support. Often their supporters do things For them, not With them. This is why global networks calls for all organisations to include people with Down syndrome and being With Us Not For Us. So, what can we do?- Speak up with them!

Here is us, raising awareness of Down syndrome and getting people talking! If you like our socks, go to https://lotsofsocks.worlddownsyndromeday.org/collections/lotsofsocks-socks, get your ‘official’ #LotsOfSocks and support the work of Down syndrome International.
