We are looking for experienced professionals to join our team.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of our clients health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and management systems.
  • To visit clients premises for the purpose of carrying out agreed contractual work.
  • Reviewing and developing Safety Statements for corporate clients.
  • Conducting and documentation risk assessments.
  • Develop solutions including risk management guides, circulars, alerts, videos, webinars, workshops, conferences etc. to support the Modig team, and our clients, in achieving their shared objectives.
  • Advise and instruct clients in the use of Health and Safety Management systems and other relevant technical documents and online services.
  • Keeping our clients and the internal team up to date with legal and industry standards for EHS.
  • Perform DSE & Ergonomic Assessments using recognised industry tools.
  • Liaise with the HSE, HSA and other Enforcing Authorities on behalf of clients when required to do so.
  • Deliver EHS Training including manual handling, ergonomics, EHS Representative training, Emergency Response Training and much more.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, ensuring that you comply with both company and departmental policies, procedures and protocols.

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Superb written, verbal and presentation skills adaptable to both face to face and virtual platforms.
  • Strong Health and Safety technical knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of EHS management systems including legal, regulatory, technical, and operational requirements.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, ability to understand large volumes of data and compile reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Efficient at prioritising and communicating key objectives to achieve organisational goals.
  • Challenged by changing working within different industries.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • H.Dip or Degree in Safety, Health & Welfare at Work
  • Train the Trainer Qualification
  • QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor and other instructor skills desirable
